I bought this to replace a tired BMW "Business" CD/Radio in my 2001 Z3. It works perfectly with the factory Harmon Kardon amp, speakers and subwoofer. Sound is bright and clear. Installation took about ten minutes. I was able to match the display colors to those of my instruments - it looks like it belongs. Bluetooth works great with my Android (Samsung Captivate) phone, and calls are clear even with the top down. I don't miss having a CD player at all. This unit is a steal!

It works flawleslly in my suzuki grand vitara.
The functionality is great. It accepts many sources of audio. The mic and voice recognition software works fine. The screen is functional and small enough to be unnoticed as an add on to the vehicle (and unattractive to a thief when it ain't on).
I have seen some bad reviews because of faulty units. This is definetely solved if you buy from the right vendor. I bought mine from amazon even though it was more expensive and that actually paid off because the initial unit I received didn't even turn on. Amazon sent me a replacement within 10 minutes after I communicated the problem at no cost at all. For me, the wait was worth because the unit now works great.
Finally, I won't give it a five because of:
a) The voice recognition software does not give you a chance to confirm if it understood correctly
b) If you pause a song, let's say on your Ipod, and the radio then the radio comes out of the speakers.. for me that's a software error that should be fixed

Very complex head unit. Gps works great. Too many features on it though. Book included does not cover any of the features, and it takes a while to learn them. Movie feature is not functional. It just says "Use careful when driving". Got a movie to play on Windows Media Player once, but it won't do it again. A stylus (not included) is needed to navigate. Plays music and GPS at the same time. GPS even indicates when you are speeding. I did not like the unit at first, but after some time playing around with it I am very pleased. Good buy for the money.
